It does turn smoothly but not buttery smooth. It feels as though it may have ball bearings to help properly align each turn so that’s nice. But mine has some internal pieces (possibly flash) that rattle around inside and that’s annoying. It makes it feel like garbage. The stickers were also peeling out of the box. Regardless, despite having only 2 colors, it is solved using the same algorithms as the regular Pyraminx. It is a fun simple puzzle and I do recommend it.
