This cube is beautiful. OOTB the size and weight is exactly what I find solid and sturdy. I did have one small piece that wasn't in place, I set it in place and it doesn't 'snap' into place. I've left it in place and it hasn't been an issue with the solve.
This puzzle is unstickered OOTB, it does include ONE set of stickers.I'd like to have a second set. When applying the stickers, I used sticker application tape and cut small areas (usually the corner and the seven surrounding stickers) this helps to keep a more uniformly spaced appearance. During the process, I've found that the precut stickers do not always match how the puzzle was sitting, again the reason for applying a few stickers at a time. This puzzle's corners can move/turn just enough to not line up with the others when pressing the stickers on.
I'm sharing my experience in hopes that it can help advise others in applying the stickers.
Once all of the stickers have been applied, the cube moves nicely; However, adding a cube lube helps.
I love how this puzzle looks in my collection. When the corners are turned, I can see why it has been called the ripple cube.
